About Us

Carrickmacross Emmett Gaelic Football and hurling Club located in South Monaghan was founded in 1903 and since then has continued to represent the people of Carrickmacross on the playing fields of Monaghan and further a field.

 

At present the club has 10 teams in Football 2 Adult Teams, Under 21, Minor, Under 16, 15, 14,13,12 and 2 Adult, Minor, U/I 6, U/14 and U/12 Teams in Hurling. The Club also boasts a thriving Handball Club at both adult and juvenile level along with Ladies Football Teams at both levels.

 

The Club have been resident at our present home (Emmet Park) on the Ballybay Road since 1953. Facilities there include, a Handball Alley and Squash Court along with changing rooms and a bar/lounge facility.
